East Asia has various types of economies, for example transitional economy, planning economy, development economy and market economy.

By introducing these economies, we learn that we need various type of approach including Marxist economics, transitional economics, and development economics.
Therefore, professors will not only introduce East Asian economies but also teach the basic points of such approaches.
