Due to the COVID-19 situation, Kyoto University postpones all teaching until May 7, 2020. The Transcultural Studies Division offers some distant-learning opportunities for its core courses during April. Interested students please contact the eLearning admin via elearn@cats.bun.kyoto-ac.jp.

All other courses will begin teaching from May 7 if no other measures are decided by the university.

As part of the annual joint workshop program between the Graduate School of Letters and our partner institutions in Strasbourg, France, and Heidelberg, Germany, we invite all interested students to a special lecture by Prof. emeritus ITŌ Kimio (伊藤 公雄), leading specialist on gender studies and founding scholar of masculinity studies in Japan.
